  • You have 0 - 2 years of experience in sales of technical products.
  • You are conversant with the Nigerian Power Industry and the applicable rules and regulations.
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • You are a fast-learner
  • You have excellent business negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • You can interpret technical drawings.
  • You are self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to deliver results.
  • You have the confidence to use your initiative, and to seek out opportunities to improve products, processes and services.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and promote new business opportunities and drive sales for smart metering products.
  • Participate in demonstrations, training and presentations to help clients discover and understand our smart metering services and products.
  • Participate in sales visits and meetings with potential clients to determine their needs.
  • Build and maintain professional networks.
  • Perform technical field surveys and assessments.
  • Design cost-optimized smart metering system for clients.
  • Grow customer base and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Contribute significantly in ensuring Monthly and Quarterly sales targets are met.
  • Prepare tenders, proposals, and quotations, and pursue these to purchase orders.
  • Participate in the negotiation of contracts, terms and conditions.
  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.
  • Attend training on the use of current and new products/services.
  • Collect and analyse information and data, and prepare sales and other necessary reports.
  • Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
