Drilling Management Blasting Management Geotechnics Team Coordination Monitoring. Oversee day-to-day mining operations, including drilling, blasting, ore extraction, and transportation. Optimize processes for maximum efficiency and productivity. Prioritize and champion a culture of safety, ensuring that all mining activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines. Implement and maintain safety protocols, training programs, and emergency response plans. Manage equipment, resources, and supplies efficiently to minimize downtime and reduce operational costs. Ensure regular maintenance and replacement of equipment as necessary. Develop and execute production plans, including ore extraction schedules, to meet production targets and maximize profitability. Prepare and manage the mining budget, identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving safety and production standards. Provide regular reports to senior management on the operation's performance, safety, production, and financial metrics. Stay informed about and ensure compliance with all local, state, and national mining regulations and permits. Implement quality control measures to maintain ore quality standards and reduce waste during the extraction and processing of tin.
