Mentoring and coaching your team

Course introduction
Whether you are a first time manager or experienced manager, you need to give less experienced employees valuable feedback, insight and support, while passing down wisdom and institutional knowledge. When coaching, the idea is to guide the person to solve the problems they are encountering while empowering them to make decisions. The goal of coaching and mentoring is to support the development of individuals in the workplace in order to build a stronger team.
Coaching and mentoring is often used to enhance the staff's potential to perform better in their jobs and to be more productive- it is therefore a critical skill for every manager to master.
By the end of the course you should be in a better position to have meaningful coaching conversations with your staff- whether to strengthen their skills, address non-performance or groom the staff to realise their potential.
