Qualifications

  • First Degree Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting or related from a recognised Institution
  • 5-7 years relationship management experience as a Business Banker or Relationship Manager. Experience in dealing with customers at all levels.
  • Significant product knowledge including specialised products and financial structures.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control and client financial analysis.
  • Experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications is essential.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver revenue and portfolio growth targets in line with approved budgets by effectively converting leads generated through Business Banking, Personal Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, and other business units.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct customer engagement, joint sales calls, and field visits with relationship and sales teams. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through direct prospecting and collaboration with Relationship Managers, Business Bankers, Digital Banking teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including prospecting, acquisition, onboarding, activation, and retention of Non -SBU merchants.
  • Monitor platform performance, conduct root cause analysis of operational challenges, and implement corrective measures to improve customer adoption and utilization.
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers, Merchant Solutions Service Consultants, Product Teams, Operations, IT, and Marketing teams to drive customer acquisition and retention
