EducationalQualifications

• Degree/Diploma in one of the following related fields: Communication,

Environmental Studies or Public Relations, Development Studies, Social Worksand Social Administration

• Previous experience in negotiation and relationship building would be highly

regarded.

• Foster an environment which supports community involvement and
ownership, and a sense of control over knowledge and information beingimparted to them.

• Provide community members with opportunities to express their concerns and

raise issues with experts within and associated with the Company.

• Establish and maintain an effective relationship between the local community

and the company.

• Liaising with a variety of stakeholders within the community.


• Disseminating information through fact sheets, pamphlets, PowerPoint,

newsletters etc.

• Organising and facilitating community meetings and events.


• Handling of community enquiries.

• Provide regular and timely information, feedback and updates to the localcommunity and relevant stakeholders.

• Effectively identify and communicate community grievances or issues and

feedback to the company.

• Manage the landfill complaints line


• Produce relevant reports as required
