With a mission of improving the lives of about 26 million people in Uganda by providing clean, accessible and reliable energy solutions, Wana Energy Solutions in partnership with Yusudi is looking for people with a passion for improving lives by bringing clean cooking fuels near to their communities.
What’s in it for you?
- A 6-month high-level sales training and workplace learning conducted by Yusudi and Wana designed to develop your professional selling skills. All the workshops will teach transferable skills, designed to be beneficial across a range of industries and career paths.
- Work-based learning with 80% of your time working with Wana Energy Solutions to get hands-on selling experience and 20% of your time learning with Yusudi.

Skills and attributes that will make you successful in this role:
- You are passionate about sales and customer orientated
- You have more than 1-year sales experience in sales and love selling and want to make a living out of it
- You have a high degree of self-motivation and ambition to achieve your personal targets
- You have a positive, confident, and determined approach
- You are resilient and are able to cope with rejection
- The skills to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You can work independently and as part of a team
- You have a good understanding of numeracy
- You possess a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Other critical criteria for application:
- You are available in Kampala, Uganda.
- Minimum education qualification of a diploma or a degree (Exceptions made for having extensive experience in the oil and gas field)
- You are able to communicate in English.
- You have experience in the FMCG industry, field sales or door-to-door sales. experience.
- You have work experience in a customer-facing environment e.g retail or hospitality
- You have experience doing presentations.
- You are willing to learn and commit to the x months of virtual sales training.
- You have stable internet connection, a laptop and a phone as the classes are virtual.
- Have basic computer literacy.
- You have the time to commit to attending ALL the training and workplace learning sessions, except in cases of evidenced illness or emergency.
