Pearl of Africa oil and Nut Company is a farming and trading company that deals with growing & export of various crops such as macadamia nuts, avocado fruits, sandal wood and essential oils like lemongrass, palmarosa, marigold and patchouli.
The Company currently operates a 2 square mile farm strategically located in Uganda, Kassanda District near Lake Wamala, to ensure a consistent and steady supply of high value export produce.
We are looking an operations manager who will oversee the running of various departments of our farm such as production, mechanical, stores, factory, maintenance & the office. The main role being ensuring that these departments work seamlessly and with efficiency.

- Bachelors degree with a background in Agriculture
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position
Knowledgeable in agricultural software
- Knowledge & ability to implement best agricultural practices & standards
Knowledge in CAPEX & OPEX budgets
Leadership skills & command of authority
Excellent in report making & great communication skills
Impeccable business acumen skills
Fluency in written & spoken English
Innovative & able to introduce systems & ideas that improve the operations
