We are searching for an experienced and qualified Financial Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities
We are searching for an experienced and qualified Financial Accountant to join our team.
- Review of all journal entries done by the Accounts Assistant and the Treasury Accountant on a daily basis.
- Account reconciliations between clients and the companies for real estate, financial services and intra-group revenue transactions.
Preparation of credit notes.
Preparation of all the requisite EFRIS transactions on a daily basis.
Account reconciliations between suppliers and the companies for real estate, financial services and intra-group expenditure transactions.
Preparation and processing of debit notes.
Maintenance of fixed assets register
Periodical physical verification and assessment of fixed assets.
Accounting for fixed assets in accordance with IAS16 "Property, and Equipment, and IFRS 5 "Non-current Assets held for Sale and Discounted Operations".
Reviewing of purchase orders
Accounting for inventory in line with IAS 2 inventories.
Reporting on inventory performance
Support the finance Manager in preparation of tax returns.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree / Masters in Accounting or Finance or/and MSc in accounting.
ACCA /CPA Level III OR above
More than 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software( Quickbooks)
Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards.
Sound Knowledge of tax fundamentals
Solid understanding of book keeping competencies
Excellent Mathematical skills
Time Management skills
Ability to remain confidential
Ability to file tax returns
