This is a three-month (3-month) paid internship open to Final Year University Students and Fresh Graduates studying and with experience in Graphics design. The Graphics Design Intern will work with the EAtal Technical and Marketing Teams. The Intern will be required to employ creativity, innovation and intuition while completing their tasks.
Requirements
A degree in Industrial Art & Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
Experience creating designs for digital media such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube and TikTok
A portfolio of recent breath-taking projects by the candidate
The candidate should be fluent in English
Should be a citizen of the East African Community (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and DRC Congo)
The candidate should have access to stable internet and a proper functional laptop
The candidate should have a conducive environment to work remotely at least 30 hours a week
Skills:
Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator

Create visual text and imagery concepts to communicate and resonate the EAtal brand with our customers. Study design briefs and determine requirements
Schedule projects and define budget constraints
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas to the EAtal Marketing Team
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using appropriate software
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
Test graphics across various digital media
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
