Summary of the role

The Independent Sales Agent is ultimately accountable for generating sales, and ensuring
collections are timely and accurate.



  • Market the BrightLife’s products to all potential clients in both existing and new markets.

  • Provide advice to clients on the products functionality, pricing, and payment plans

  • Attempt to resolve all client issues and escalate any unresolved queries

  • Install the products (Solar Home systems) at the client’s premises and ensure the client is trained on how to use the product

  • Evaluate and assess the credit risk of the potential clients as per BrightLife’s processes and procedures

  • Follow up with clients to ensure collections on the PAY-GO basis are remitted by the clients

  • Ensure the assigned stock is always kept in a good condition and reconcile with the sales supervisor where necessary.

Person specifications.

  • Should have a degree /diploma/Certificate qualification from a recognized institution

  • Should have a good track of integrity, be analytical, well organized, and familiar with Credit/ Pay-go services

  • Should have high negotiation and persuasion skills

  • Should at least be above 20 years with previous experience in sales or marketing

  • MUST have a smartphone

  • Should be a team player, self-starter with the ability to work with others towards achieving the set targets.

  • This is a commission-based role. BrightLife offers a highly competitive commission structure for its Independent Sales Agent.
