EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
*Higher or Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any related discipline. *Working knowledge of the National Building Code – Electrical installation. *3 years’ experience in electrical repair and installation of facilities. *1 year of supervisory experience

*Strong general management and demonstrated leadership skills. *Must be good at application of creativity and innovative skills in managing projects. *Should have good analyzing skills as well. *Should be a problem – solver and be able to grasp the problem at hand and take quick steps to resolve it. *Ability to develop, formulate strategy and exercise good judgment. *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. *Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

*Review KPI parameters and other relevant manual, regulations to remain up to date in the respective field of engineering.
*Monitor implementation of plant preventive maintenance activities carried out as per the schedule & safety Standards.
*Troubleshoot the premature / unusual or the system failures and analyze root cause, take corrective action to avoid recurrence of the problem in line with SOPs.
*Provide work directions to specialized vendors and subordinate staffs to ensure that all activities conform to ISO policies and procedures and accepted technical standards.
*To coordinate & liaise with building focal points and coordinate day to O&M activities.
*Receive and review incoming work requests for functioning and maintenance.
*Plan, execute routine preventive maintenance and process work requests after filling in the required materials, man hours, and skill levels.
*Provides technical advice to subordinates and ensures proper use of tools for reinstating the systems.
*Inspect the work of subordinate staff, carry out related on-site work, resolves problems during work, trains subordinates in safe practices and guidelines.
*Prepare regular work reports & maintain records and files of work performed, in progress, and work completed. Completes and processes paperwork related to his section such as time sheets, material costs, repairs, and activity reports.
*Prepare annual lists of spare parts, consumable materials and special tools or test equipment.
*Any other duties assigned by the Head – Engineering Services.
