A procurement intern is a temporary position that typically involves assisting with

1. Assisting with the development of procurement plans, strategies, and policies
2. Researching and analyzing market trends, suppliers, and products
3. Preparing and issuing requests for proposals, quotes, and bids
4. Assisting with the evaluation of proposals and quotes
5. Assisting with the negotiation and drafting of contracts and agreements
6. Maintaining and updating the procurement database and records
7. Assisting with the tracking and reporting of procurement activities and metrics
8. Participating in supplier performance evaluations
9. Updating and maintaining the assets.
