The primary role of the QAT is the maintenance of the quality assurance system, quality coaching and improvement, and ensuring CCBA standards are met.
Qualifications
• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or any other related field.
• Added advantage: At least 1 year in a leadership role.
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years in Food Processing Plant, good process knowledge, preferably in a bottling environment.
• Align Quality Goals and Objectives with Business Strategic Priorities
• Engage with Internal & external Customers to Develop Partnerships and Capability
• Lead the implementation of Quality (Control) at Source and the development of the Quality Assurance function at Plant Level
• Maintenance of the Quality systems and ensuring CCBA and TCCC standards are met.
• Ensure Quality Governance, Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Laboratory Practice standards are maintained in all facilities.
• Review and Interpretation of SPC data and ensuring that this knowledge is extended to the production lines.
• Review all quality related Data and ensure that daily data review routines are kept by QAQCs and team leaders.
• Oversee specialised testing e.g. Micro and ensure that results are reviewed.
• Ensure that relevant reporting is done as per reporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
• Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Line Manager.
