1.      

Coordination:

a)     

Oversee the youthskilling intervention and ensure youth engage in meaningful employment.

b)     

Mentor andbuild the capacity of project team to integrate youth into dairy value chaindevelopment.

c)      

Coordination of all youth interventionactivities in the project operational areas.

d)     

Support the establishment ofsustainable marketing system to motivate youth to identify opportunities and engagein the business opportunities along the dairy value chain.  

e)     

Build the capacity of project staff toestablish enterprise oriented farmer hubs and ensure youth participantmeaningfully in business incubation, management and acceleration of theenterprises.

f)      

Coordinate preparation of quarterlyand annual plans, budgets and reports for the project.

g)     

Identify and collaborate with other partnersin order to get synergetic effects of the work.

h)     

Support project team to facilitate andcoordinate implementation of youth enterprise development and market linkages.

i)       

Technicalassistance and manage the development, monitoring, analysis and evaluation ofthe project.

j)       

Provideinput into recruitment and orientation of staff as may be required.

k)     

Developproject specific work plans, detailed implementation plans and projectschedules based on project agreements and contractual obligations.

l)       

Facilitateplanning and review sessions with partners to inform adjustments to plans andimplementation schedules.

m)   

Participatein budget processes and periodic budget reviews for partners.

n)     

Ensuretimely submission of financial and narrative reports.

o)     

Coordinateand support sub awardee’s implementation

 

2.      

Training:

a)    

Incollaboration with other project staff and partners, work to identify capacitygaps with regards to project activities in the region.

b)   

Design andsupport training for staff, project partners and project participants inworkshops and group level.

c)   

Build thecapacity of project partner on youth programming.

d)   

Buildcapacity of youth to take charge of business incubation hubs, input and outputmarkets, livestock management practices in their communities.  

e)   

Build thecapacity of project staff in identifying and disseminating lessons learned andbest practices.

f)    

Keep currentdata base for trainers in respective training areas and other related projectresources.

 

3.      

Management Information System:

a)     

Ensureproject staff are trained in use and management of MIS.

a)     

Guide andsupport staff in their efforts to collect and analyse data on a monthly basis.

b)      Use and study information captured through the MISin real time to make strategic decisions, generate monthly and quarterly trend

analysis reports.

c)      

Work withthe M& E team to clean, upload and analyse data.
