Job Purpose:

The Project Monitoring & Evaluation Officer is responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality and

timely inputs and ensuring that the Project maintains its strategic focus and that its activities achieve itsintended outputs cost-effectively and timely. He/she is responsible for designing, coordinating andimplementing the Project's monitoring and evaluation and learning framework. He/she develops andimplements a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidencegathered by the Project.
Requirements

 Graduate degree in Social Work, Development studies, statistics or relevant field. A Post Graduate

Degree in M&E will be an added advantage.

 Strong knowledge and experience in data collection, entry and the use of modern techniques.


 Four years of experience in performance monitoring and evaluation for development programs,

including developing performance indicators, data collection tools and analysis.

 Skills and experience with numerical methods and database management.

 Strong analytical skills.


 Excellent Oral and written communication skills.


 Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.


 Strong knowledge of information systems is desirable
