The Sales Executive will increase sales by finding new clients, developing relationships with potential customers, follow up on leads and maintain those already won over. They may identify prospective clients or make sure that current ones are satisfied.
The role will involve detailed advanced planning to generate local networks to enable you to deliver current and future sales. You will also assist with the resolution of customer needs as they arise.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate for the Solar Sales Executive job must hold at least a diploma in Business Administration or sales and Marketing.

  • A minimum of one year of field sales experience, with at least 1 year in Solar products.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize, plan and execute work activities.

  • Fluent in local languages especially used in Bunyoro regions.

  • Proven ability to work in a self-disciplined & proactive manner.

  • Good negotiation skills and ability

  • Tenacious personality

  • Willingness to work in rural areas.

  • “Getting the sale” using various customer sales methods
  • Forecasting sales, developing “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluating their effectiveness

  • Evaluating customers skills, needs and building productive long lasting relationships

  • Ensure the growth of the AES footprint in the region.

  • Compile, analyse and submit timely reports to the Regional Manager.
