Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in any Geosciences field from a recognized University/Institution. Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in any Geo-information related Management field will be an added advantage

.Working Experience

Applicants should have three (3) years relevant working experience as Documentation Officer or Geologist in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.

-       Cataloguing information and extracting keywords on geological information for geo-data management;

-       Preparing geo-scientific bibliographies from geo-scientific reports for referencing;

-       Undertaking user’s information needs surveys and developing user profiles;

-       Providing reference services, user training and guidance;

-       Packaging and disseminating geoscientific information for mineral promotion;

-       Supervising and appraising Documentation Officer;

-       Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
