To control and review the engineering and maintenance of functional

designs and infrastructure in the City Division to ensure clientsatisfaction and effective systems performance.
(a) Academic Qualifications

i. An honors Bachelor’s degree in either Civil, Electrical Engineeringor Construction management from a recognized university orinstitution of higher learning.

(b) Work Experience

A minimum of 3years working experience at Engineer level inGovernment or an equivalent level from a reputable organization.

Purpose of the Job:

designs and infrastructure in the City Division to ensure clientsatisfaction and effective systems performance.
(a) Academic Qualifications

i. An honors Bachelor’s degree in either Civil, Electrical Engineeringor Construction management from a recognized university orinstitution of higher learning.

(b) Work Experience

A minimum of 3years working experience at Engineer level inGovernment or an equivalent level from a reputable organization.


i. Planning, developing and reviewing the Annual Engineering and
technical works Plan, set benchmarks for the implementation ofthe planned projects, evaluate the performance of the plan andgenerate Reports to management as required.

ii. Designing and implementing projects aiming at the improving theperformance of the City infrastructure in line with Divisionmandate.

iii. Planning, designing and managing the construction,rehabilitation, upgrading and periodic maintenance of theDivision drainage systems and Roads including the Road markingand signage in line with the approved work plan.

iv. Planning, designing and managing the provision of traffic and

street lighting for the Division in line with the work plan.

v. Planning, designing and managing the construction and

maintenance of the Division Building Infrastructure in line withthe approved work plan.

vi. Designing and implementing a system for Planning and

coordinating the repair of the city motor vehicles and machineryin line with the Division management policies.
vii. Managing the performance and development of staff under direct
supervision as per the Human Resources performancemanagement policy.
