Senior Internal Auditor

To provide technical support and carry out routine internal auditengagements, management, supervision, review and monitoringprogress of day-to-day internal audit activities.

a) Qualifications

i. An Honor’s Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting,Business Administration/Studies (Accounting Option) orCommerce (Accounting Option) from a recognized University/Institution plus Full professional qualification in Accountingsuch as ACCA, APA, ACIS or CIMA obtained from a recognizedawarding Institution/Body accredited by ICPAU Or
APA, ACIS or CIMA obtained from a recognized awardingInstitution/Body accredited by ICPAU Or

iii. An Honor’s Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Humanities plus

professional qualifications in accounting such as ACCA, APA,ACIS or CIMA obtained from a recognized awardingInstitution/Body accredited by ICPAU

b) Work Experience

At least 3 (Three) years of working experience as an Internal Auditor in

Government or equivalent level of Audit work experience from areputable organization.

ii. To participate in preparation of audit plan;

iii. To monitor execution of audit programs including routinefinancial audit; performance audit, IT audit and other specialaudits;

iv. To review work papers and documentation;

v. To follow up recommendations from previous audits;

vi. To draft audit findings and conclusions;

vii. To compile audit findings for discussion with management.
