Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; or Mechanical Engineering; or Chemistry; or Chemical Engineering; or Chemistry; or any other related field from a recognized University/ Institution. A Masters Degree in any of the above or related fields from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
Working Experience
Applicants should have three (3) years relevant working experience as a Petroleum Officer (Electrical & Instrumentation) or (Chemist) in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.

- Developing and maintaining a database of standards for instrumentation and measurement in midstream facilities;
- Reviewing and advising management on proposed instrumentation and measurement technologies for different midstream petroleum facilities;
- Participating in promotion of investment in midstream petroleum facilities;
- Participating in technical and research studies related to instrumentation and measurement of midstream petroleum facilities;
- Participating in preliminary activities leading to licensing process;
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
