(a) Academic Qualifications

An Honor’s Bachelor’s degree in Records and Archives Management orLibrary and Information Science from a recognized awarding Institution

(b)Work Experience


Three (3) years working experience at the level of Records Officer or an

equivalent level in a reputable organization.

i. Planning and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the
Registry;

ii. Developing and implementing classification schemes in line withestablished policy and guidelines;

iii. Establish Registries and Records Centers;

iv. Implementing the retention and disposal of records schedules;

v. Provide on job training and mentoring to subordinate staff;


vi. Managing performance and development of supervised staff;


vii. Requisitioning and accounting for resources and performance of

the registry
