At least three years of working experience in construction management
Experience with timber construction is a big plus
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
Expert knowledge of relevant rules, regulations and quality standards in construction
Leadership and human resources management skills
Excellent time and project management skills
Experienced in keeping an overview of production planning of multiple projects
Affinity with sustainable and affordable housing
Fluency in English and Luganda

Oversee and direct construction projects from prefabrication till placement
Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Coordinate and direct carpentry team and subcontractors
Maintaining tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
Review the work progress on daily basis
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to project status
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Work closely together with the Project Managers and carpenters
