The accountant will be responsible for a wide variety of finance-related tasks that are primarily associated with preparing financial records, organizing and maintaining financial records, and ensuring statements are accurate.

The accountant will be responsible for a wide variety of finance-related tasks that are primarily associated with preparing financial records, organizing and maintaining financial records, and ensuring statements are accurate.
- Manage accounting transactions.
Process vendor invoices for payments accurately and within assigned timeline.
Prepare and send invoices to partners in a timely manner.
Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and MPESA paybill transactions.
Responsible for managing petty cash, which includes making payments, recording expenses, and processing reimbursements.
Facilitate Staff support and reimbursements.
Manage Payroll and submit statutory deductions i.e. NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, Housing Levy and VAT.
Provide necessary documentation and support during the audit process.
Maintain physical filing and storage of all documents in an efficient and secure manner.
Implement new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines as directed.
Identify and execute process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
To provide business partnering and support to teams, including providing technical
finance assistance for the projects assigned.Working with the Finance and Project teams, prepare interim and final financial project reports as they fall due.
Support the Finance team in attending promptly to all queries during project and
statutory audits.Oversee all accounting related functions for assigned projects.
Manage invoices, payments, and compliance for assigned projects.
Have an understanding of compliance requirements for assigned projects.
Generate project related audit reviews and any other required reports.
Supports the elaboration of projects related to Terms of Reference.
Supporting the projects in articulation with the Project Manager
Collect and track compliance documents.
Undertake other duties as directed by the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
