Guess what?! It’s been 6 months since we began our Fuzu journey in Uganda. I am Alvin, the Fuzu Uganda Country Manager. As you most probably know, our mission is to unlock the untapped human potential across Uganda and I would like to look back and share with you the great strides that we have made over the past 6 months in achieving that mission.
FUZU UGANDA REACHES 50,000 USER MARK!
As I write to you now, you are part of our first 50,000 users in Uganda! For us this is a momentous achievement considering we just launched 6 months ago. This further confirms the speed at which our career community is growing in Uganda and across the region. I personally thank you for the part you have played in this and encourage you to continue spreading the Fuzu gospel to get more of your friends and family on Fuzu!
PEOPLE IN UGANDA CARE ABOUT IMPROVING THEIR PROSPECTS
Besides growing our user numbers in Uganda, the engagement we have had on the platform has been tremendous. Close to 2500 people have set career goals. Over 10,000 people have taken professional personality tests and are in a better position to be selected for jobs that match their personalities. Just over 3000 people have taken courses. This shows that people all over the country do find value in what we offer and are proactively using the Fuzu platform to improve their outlook.
JOBS IN THE THOUSANDS!
Not only have we grown in users and engagement but we have also grown in the number of jobs on the platform with close to 5000 jobs having been uploaded on the platform over the past 6 months. We have worked with some of the top companies in the market today such as Safeboda, Jumia, Mercy Corps, Sanlam Life Insurance, Mondo Ride to name a few and we will continue pushing to get you all the best jobs from all the best companies in Uganda!

Looking forward now at the next 6 months our number one goal is for you to continue to see value in the Fuzu platform. Whether it’s through getting more employers to work with us exclusively, improving our tools and platform for a better experience or having more training content, our focus and drive will remain over 100% so that you can continue to dream, grow and be found with Fuzu. My only ask to you at this moment is to share this story and invite your friends to Fuzu, so we can continue to drive a positive impact across the nation, region and continent!
