Requirements
• The Coop Manager Coffee should have an excellent understanding and existing network of the local coffee industry and value chain
• Has to be able to perform good quality control on the raw materials
• Must have sales experience, with solid understanding of orders, sales, margin, cost efficiencies, invoicing & payments
• Must be able to build good relationships with large numbers of customers (both farmers and buyers)
• Excellent ability to perform quality control on operational processes and data generation
• Willing to travel to potentially remote remote locations in-country
• Fluent in English and at least 1 other local language spoken within the project area
• Experience in an international organisation is a plus

• Implement the designed cooperative for coffee for DGB in Uganda
• Maximise sales prices of the raw materials
• Minimise losses of raw materials in the chain due to quality issues
• Organise logistics to collect coffee from farmers and transfer to buyers
• Ensure compliance and quality control of all coop related operations in the country including: accuracy of reported production values (# of kilos produced, # of kilos of sold, # of kilos discarded due to quality etc)
• Maintain excellent relations with the farmers
• Design and implement project cost efficiencies, while maintaining quality control
• Maintain good working relationships with variety of stakeholders, including global team members, partners, industry regulators, government departments, and other third party organizations
