Save the Children has been operating in Uganda since 1959. The organisation’s work is guided by the National Development Plan and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Save the Children works with key stakeholders that include children, civil society organisations, communities, donors, the Government and the media in contributing to the realisation of children’s rights.
Save the Children strives to create impact for children by delivering programmes through partnerships, by being innovative, by acting as the voice for and of children, and by achieving results at scale. In Uganda, we implement programmes in both development and humanitarian contexts.
