Under the overall authority of the Director of UNESCO Regional Office for Eastern Africa and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Education Sector, the following tasks will be carried out in close collaboration with the Education Project officer for Education, Health and Well-Being.

  • We are looking for one (1) Online Volunteer who under the guidance of the Project Officer for Education, Health and Well-Being and in close collaboration with the education team will produce design proposals for five (5) factsheets, covering the achievements of(organization). In particular, the/each Online Volunteer is asked to:
    • Leveraging graphic design to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of UNESCO’s educational initiatives.
    • Collect information on document/material background such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines.
    • Creating Visual Content: Developing engaging and informative visual materials that reflect the aims and achievements of the O3 Programme.
    • Enhancing Educational Resources: Designing educational tools and resources that promote the program's key messages on gender equality, health, and human rights.
    • Supporting Advocacy and Awareness: Producing visually impactful materials that aid in advocacy and increase awareness about the importance of inclusive and equitable education.
    • Resource Mobilization: Crafting compelling presentations and pitches that facilitate resource mobilization efforts, ensuring sustained support for educational programs.
    • Create a small video for the UNESCO education team to showcase compelling stories and the work of the UNESCO Regional Office.
