Generation Kenya is currently looking to train more Kenyan youth for sales roles in the fast-growing banking and insurance sector and on stock assistant roles in the booming retail sector.
For many months now we have been posting openings for McKinsey Social Initiative’s Generation Kenya program. This global youth employment programme helps young adults change their life trajectories by providing them free world-class professional training and support in finding employment. We are proud to help make this initiative possible for Kenyan youth.
In Kenya, the current focus is on sales roles in the fast-growing banking and insurance sector and on stock assistant roles in the booming retail sector. Generation is currently recruiting young people into both programs and offers support post-graduation during employment.

Who can join?
The programme is meant for 19-30 year old unemployed or underemployed candidates who have finished their KCSE examination with D+ or higher score. Generation Kenya is looking for ambitious, energetic and talented youth to go through a 6-week financial service training programme and who can eventually work in the financial services industry (banking and insurance companies). The program guarantees 2 interviews with the employer partners and they have so far placed hundreds of candidates into employment.
