  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years’ hands-on experience in managing electrical systems and equipment preferably at supervisory level.
  • Experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for new projects and upgrades.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using electrical engineering software and tools.
  • Experience managing an integrated grid-solar-BESS solution a plus.

  • Design and implement electrical systems for new projects and upgrades.
  • Develop plans and specifications for electrical systems that conform to industry standards and meet client requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend modifications to existing electrical systems to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s electrical systems, including the National Kenya Power grid, integrated solar systems, and generators.
  • Develop maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment such as generators, water pumps, blowers, among others.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures for electrical equipment.
  • Coordinate with Vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment needed for repair.
  • Manage budgets and resources for electrical projects.
  • Ensure project timelines are met and projects are completed within budget.
  • Work with other departments to identify and resolve electrical system and equipment issues.
  • Coordinate with contracts and other vendors to ensure timely completion of electrical projects.
