About
Jerusalem Institute of Health Sciences (JIHS) is a private institution that has strategically established itself as a leading hub for high-quality education and advanced research in Uganda and the region. Established in 2010 by Executive Director Peter Okodo, a young entrepreneur with a medical background, JIHS began with a focus on medical courses but has since expanded to include various fields of technology. Today, it boasts a student population of over 2,000, training future scientists and professionals in both the medical and technological sectors, while actively supporting the Government of Uganda through skills development and innovative research aligned with national economic priorities.
