As an umbrella organisation that coordinates all networks of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in Uganda, be it at national or decentralized level, we believe that good governance, meaningful and strategic partnerships, as well as effective coordination leads to stronger and sustainable networks. PLHIV in Uganda and the rest of the world should not be dying of AIDS related deaths. This can only happen if the Greater/Meaningful Involvement of PLHIV (G/MIPA) principle is applied, a deliberate plan to reduce stigma and discrimination in place, empowerment of PLHIV is undertaken to promote positive living.
