Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU) is a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). RHU is a volunteer owned and led organisation that started work in Uganda in 1957. Currently RHU operates 17 branches spread in all the sub-regions of Uganda. RHU has made significant contribution in the area of SRHR. Many of these efforts have redefined the SRHR landscape in Uganda. RHU has a long-standing record of providing quality reproductive health services that include safe motherhood, family planning, HIV/AIDS, adolescent interventions and advocacy in Uganda. RHU works with different partners and stakeholders to realise its goals and objectives. The main target is the young people and the most vulnerable groups, with special focus on hard-to-reach areas. There is also special attention paid on promoting gender inclusiveness.
