Fins Medical University (FMU) has established a modern teaching hospital which is known as Th Great Lakes International Hospital. This is a 200 in-patient capacity hospital with three wings serving both as General and specialized hospital. The hospital shall serve the people of Uganda and beyond especially as it shall conduct surgeries which are rarely conducted in Africa such as heart surgery, open brain surgery, kidney transplant among others. The Great Lakes International Hospital shall employ experts from across the world to provide the much needed medical care as well as installing medical equipment to aid the diagnosis and treatment. Currently, one section of the hospital is complete.
