Uganda’s leading e-commerce platform Jumia has announced the return of its highly anticipated Black Friday sale. This year’s campaign dubbed Jumia Black Fridays will run from 6th to 30th November on the Jumia shopping app.

This year, customers can look forward to discounts of up to 80% off on over 20,000 amazing deals on popular brands such as Apple, Samsung, Nokia, Johnson & Johnson, Jameson, Pampers until the end of November.

Discounts for the Black Friday sale will feature deals from tech products, home appliances, fashion, supermarket essentials and more. Some of the exclusive offers will include the brand new iPhone 12 at 2,499,000 UGX, Kinyara sugar at 2,200 UGX, Globalstar 32” TV at 398,000 UGX, 2L Coca-Cola at 1,800 UGX, Jameson 1L at 63,000 and many more thousands of deals

To make things even more exciting, Jumia will have flash sales (exclusive discounts that last for a limited time), treasure hunts (a popular game where customers can win mega prizes at 99% off) and other fun contests where customers can play and stand a chance to win amazing giveaways like cookers, smartphones and more.

Last year’s Black Friday campaign hit a record high attracting over 100 million unique visitors to Jumia's platforms across Africa during the event and this year’s event is expected to attract an even bigger number as more consumers turn online to enjoy convenience and contactless safe delivery. The campaign will be available for consumers across the country to enjoy as the e-commerce platform delivers to all locations in the country.
