Ekerubo Gietai TTI was registered on 22nd 12 2014 by the ministry of education under TVET Act NO 29 of 2013.It is one of the thirteen newly established technical institutes in Kenya during the tenth Parliament .The is self-governing by the Board of Governors and directly funded by the Government. The Board of Governors was inaugurated on 27th April 2015.the institute is situated approximately 12 km from Nyamira town Centre off Mokomoni-Nyaramba road in Nyamira County. It is the first and currently the only National Technical Training Institute in Nyamira County. We are striving to ensure that the institute is recognized internationally as a Centre for Academic Excellency with full support from the government. EGTTI ADMINSTRATION The institute is run by the Board of Governors and Management. The Management comprises of the Principal, two Deputy Principals, the Registrar, the Dean of Students, Industrial Attachment Coordinator, Head of Departments and their Deputies. The institute actively participates in National Research Conferences, National TVET Trade Fairs, Robotics Contests, Sports, and Drama and Music Competitions at Regional and National levels. This ensures holistic training and leads to discovery of trainees talents.
