How to Explain an Employment Gap on Your CV in Kenya
A gap on your CV matters less than how you explain it. This guide shows Kenyan job seekers how to list a career break honestly on a CV, how to explain it in an interview in under 30 seconds, which gaps need no explanation at all, and sample wording for retrenchment, caregiving, study, health, a long job search and a business that didn’t work out.
