Royal Hospital (Level 4) is registered by the Kenya medical and dental Practitioners board as a nursing home.
It was started in the year 1993 as an outpatient clinic, conducting deliveries too.
Because of the scarcity of quality, affordable and patient centered health care services in the region, the demand necessitated the expansion of our clinic.
The first expansion occurred in the year 1996 using savings from our patient’s fees; land was purchased and the facility was expanded to include a delivery room and a post natal ward housing 3 post natal beds. We for a long time were the leading institution in the county in terms of normal deliveries conducted.
