  • Be a Kenyan citizen.
  • Holds a degree from a recognized university in Kenya.
  • Has at least ten (10) years relevant professional experience.
  • Has at least five (5) years’ experience in a leadership position at senior management level in a public service or private sector organization; and meets the requirements of leadership and integrity as prescribed in Chapter 6 of the Constitution

  • Arranging the business, and keeping the minutes of the County Executive Committee subject to the directions of the Executive Committee
  • Convey the decisions of the County Executive Committees to the appropriate persons or authorities.
  • Establishing strong linkages between County department and external stakeholders.
  • Establishing and developing collaboration with National Government ministries or departments, partners and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensuring efficient management of resources.
  • Interpreting, disseminating and overseeing the implementation of National and County Government policies.
  • Co-ordinating and drafting briefs, policy, memoranda, ministerial position and concept papers.
  • Coordinating County Government activities.
  • Providing direction to public officers in the County
  • Performing any other functions as assigned by the Governor and County Executive Committee.
