The Research Researcher will play a crucial role in our ongoing projects cantered on solar-based household water disinfection products. Responsibilities include the preparation and execution of experiments, management of our state-of-the-art weathering chamber, and contribution to scientific data analysis and reports.

The Research Researcher will play a crucial role in our ongoing projects cantered on solar-based household water disinfection products. Responsibilities include the preparation and execution of experiments, management of our state-of-the-art weathering chamber, and contribution to scientific data analysis and reports.


  • Preparing and performing various experiments including performance efficiency tests and proof of principle studies.

  • Ordering and managing the inventory of materials required for research and experimentation.

  • Supporting the preparation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Conducting comprehensive data analysis and interpreting experimental results.

  • Performing literature reviews to stay current with scientific trends and advancements.

  • Assisting in the preparation of data analysis and reports.

  • Supervising and mentoring students, interns, and junior research researchers.

  • Maintaining and operating the Atlas weathering chamber, ensuring its functionality for experimental needs.

Requirements:
  • A Master’s degree in Microbiology + 1 year of experience (or a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years working with microbiology) solid understanding of experimental design and statistical data analysis.

  • Proficiency in maintaining SOPs and conducting literature reviews.

  • Demonstrated capability in report writing and scientific communication.

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ability to mentor and build capacity in students and junior team members.

  • Proficiency in using computer applications, data analysis software, and laboratory equipment.
