Machinist

What we are looking for

• Other Degree in Mechanical Engineering, NABTEB and City and Guilds.
  
• 3 years’ hands-on experience in the industry.
  
• Able to develop shapes from drawing
  
• Good welding and metal joining practice
  
• Excellent understanding and interpretation of technical/engineering drawings
  
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
  

• To execute pre-planned, predictive maintenance and corrective maintenance of plants and equipment in accordance with lafergeholcim designed maintenance procedure and technical regulations and to keep effective documentation assigned jobs.
  
• To maintain good and safe housekeeping during and after work or job execution.
  
• Fabrication of any required components with good supervision
  
• Enforce safety regulations according to company standards, reports near misses in area.
  
• Transfer understandable work instructions from N+1 to subordinates.
  
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by N+1 OR HOD.
  
• Keeping record for any activities under his responsibilities and reported daily /weekly.
  
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
  
• Diagnosing faults.
