Job Description
- The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) at Starcare International Hospital plays a critical role in providing continuous, high-quality medical care to our patients.
- As an RMO, you will work closely with our team of experienced healthcare professionals across various departments to deliver effective treatment and care.
- You will be responsible for managing the medical care of patients from admission to discharge, including diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care with specialists.
- This position requires a commitment to patient safety, a passion for healthcare, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Conduct patient rounds daily, assess patients’ conditions, and develop treatment plans in consultation with senior medical staff.
- Perform clinical procedures and interventions as necessary, including but not limited to IV insertions, phlebotomy, and administering medications.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the hospital, providing resuscitation and stabilization as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing compassionate care and clear information about diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognosis.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and other specialists, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
- Participate in continuing medical education, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
