The primary role of the QC Incoming Inspection is to ensure accurate and timely Inspection of the incoming ingredients and packaging materials.
Qualifications
• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or any other related field.
• Added advantage: At least 1 year in a leadership role.
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years in Food Processing Plant. Good process knowledge, preferably in a bottling environment.

• Comply with the Quality Goals and Objectives
• Engage with suppliers through procurement department to develop partnerships and capability.
• Verify that all incoming materials (both ingredients and packaging materials) meet the TCCC requirements.
• Participate in the validation of new materials.
• Communicate the performance of materials to the supervisor for actioning.
• Work with logistics team to verify trade returns and follow-up with appropriate teams to establish preventive actions.
• Monitor the storage conditions of both ingredients and raw materials.
• Participate in audits (ISO, KORE) and internal audits.
• Ensure that relevant reporting is done as per reporting schedules.
• Ensure that RCA processes relating to quality issues address the relevant root cause and assist production teams with this process where required.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies and procedures and applicable.
