- Diploma in Clinical Ophthalmology(Diploma,Under graduate)
- At least three (3) years as an Ophthalmic Clinical Officer.

- Diploma in Clinical Ophthalmology(Diploma,Under graduate)
- At least three (3) years as an Ophthalmic Clinical Officer.
- Diagnose, treat and manage patients with eye diseases.
- Refer complicated cases to Medical Officer Special Grade (Ophthalmology).
- Ensure protection of patients, relatives and staff.
- Carry out community sensitization about eye health care.
- Initiate and participate in research activities.
- Impart knowledge and skills to staff and students.
- Promote observance of the Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics by staff under him/her.
- Participate in planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluating ophthalmic clinical activities.
- Manage and account for allocated resources.
- Compile and submit periodic reports.
- Participate in planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluating ophthalmic clinical activities
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
