Responsibilities

- Operate wind turbines and balance plant equipment from the control room using SCADA systems.
- Coordinate with the KPLC National Control Centre to optimize power output.
- Record and adjust plant operating parameters for safe and efficient operation.
- Conduct substation equipment isolation following lock out tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Assist in implementing maintenance plans and restoring generation after disruptions.
- Prepare daily wind farm performance reports.
- Operate the 33/220kV substation and associated auxiliaries.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team for job safety analysis.
- Perform tests on critical systems as necessary to ensure availability.
- Respond to directives and abnormal conditions promptly.
- Issue and track maintenance work permits.
