Responsibilities
Coordinate academic activities.
Ensure academic program approval.
Oversee curriculum implementation.
Oversee the management all University examination management,
Coordinate all graduation processes.
Supervise all academic staff.
Manage the performance of academic staff.
Attract research funding, conduct research and work with the research department to disseminate research findings.
Conducting marketing activities.
Being the University representative to the Ministry in Charge of Higher Education; the Commission for University Education and the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).
Oversee the management of student welfare.
An earned PhD minimum.
Associate Professor/Professor title is an added advantage.
A minimum of 5 years experience as a senior lecturer.
Those who have served as registrars/deans have an added advantage.
A background in the private sector.
Readiness to be an integral part of our residential institution, in a remote, serene, rural setting, away from urban area bustle.
