Description
- Minimum of SSCE / OND or relevant technical qualification.
- 2 years experience in operating wire drawing or similar industrial machines.
- Strong understanding of machine setup, dies selection, and lubrication processes.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges.
- Good attention to detail and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Set up wire drawing machines by selecting and installing the correct dies.
- Apply appropriate lubrication to ensure smooth wire passage through the machine.
- Start and operate the drawing process while maintaining optimal machine performance.
- Continuously monitor wire tension, alignment, and machine speed to prevent breakage or defects.
- Inspect finished wire products using micrometers and gauges to ensure compliance with specified diameters.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Identify and report faults, defects, or equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around the machine and work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
