Develop and implement policies and procedures for the maintenance and repair of the hospitals physical plant and equipment
Ensure the hospital complies with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements
including state and federal agencies
Manage the staff responsible for maintenance, repair, and renovation, including hiring,
training, and evaluating performance
Develop and manage the departments budget, including capital expenditures, and prepare reports on facility operations and maintenance costs
Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for repairs, renovations, and other projects
Plan and coordinate the installation, relocation, and disposal of equipment and furniture
Collaborate with hospital administration and other departments to identify and prioritize facility improvement projects
