Description
- Generate work orders for identified mechanical problems.
- Prioritize and assign mechanical system related work orders to skilled maintenance staff.
- Ensure all mechanical maintenance and repairs carried out meets the established procedures and standards.
- Direct assigned maintenance staff in resolving complex and/or difficult maintenance issues.
- Prioritize personnel safety & health and ensure good housekeeping during all maintenance jobs.
- Implement Preventive and Predictive Maintenance schedules
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Power Plant Head /Section head from time to time.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or it's equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of Fifteen (15) years of Power Plant relevant work experience in Gas based power plant operations.
- Knowledge on Mechanical maintenance of Gas Turbine, Air Compressor, NG Compressor, Cooling Towers, various types of centrifugal & positive displacement pumps, various types of valves, Firefighting System and other equipment’s maintenance e.g. R.O. & Water Treatment plant.
- Very good analytical and problem solving skills
- Very good oral and written communication skill.
- Proficient in the use of SAP, Microsoft Office.Creativity and an ability to think out of the box.
