Description
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Membership of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is required.
- Minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing, feed milling, or industrial production environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of feed mill equipment, industrial maintenance practices, and asset reliability management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies for all plant machinery, utilities, and support systems.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of critical feed mill equipment through effective maintenance planning and execution.
- Lead troubleshooting activities and conduct root cause analysis for complex mechanical, electrical, and operational failures.
- Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and expenditure to achieve targeted maintenance costs and operational efficiency.
- Oversee spare parts planning and inventory optimization to balance equipment uptime and working capital requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.
