Qualifications & Competencies
- B.Sc or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or other related science courses.
- Minimum of 3 years of laboratoryexperience with an understanding of Good Laboratory practices (GMP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and laboratory safety within an FMCG
- Experience in Syrup Mixing
- Solid and demonstrable knowledge of laboratory procedures.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- A self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision, meetdeadlines, and ensuretimely submission of reports.
- Sound knowledge of food management systems and other food safety knowledge
- Ability to follow through on issues and complaints
- Ability to write SOPs and Food safety rules
- Must be able to make people do the right thing
- Proficiency with MS Office(Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint & GoogleDocs)
- Must be innovative and dynamic.

Duties
- Monitor production activities to ensure that they meet set quality standards.
- Conduct Product Tests and Assessments before, during, and after every batch of production as necessary.
- Proficiency in carrying out the required analyses according to standard procedures and work instructions.
- Responsible for the quality control plan of the equipment under their responsibility including calibration.
- Responsible for interpreting results and for reproducibility and repeatability of analyses
- Responsible for Sampling of line and finished products according to set standards and ensuring compliance.
- Reporting of abnormalities, notification of quality deviations, and takingimmediate corrections.
- Perform analyses and tests as defined.
- Identify Product Defects and Report Quality Issues
- Keep an accurate record of all quality activities
- Implement regular Process Improvements
- Write and implement SOP.
- Sample and analyze raw materials and products according to set standards
- Follow through on assigned QMS Audit
- Follow up and investigate Consumer complaints and ensure properresolution and closure.
